'Food & medicines are blocked to Abdiya,' activists scream in ICRC's face over sending aid to Shia Houthis

Yemeni activists strongly criticized the International Committee of the Red Cross for sending aid to Houthis in Sana'a and ignoring the Abidya, a region in Yemen's Marib that Shia terrorists have been besieging for three weeks and blocking food and medical deliveries to it.

The ICRC-Yemen tweeted on Wednesday, "In response to the humanitarian crisis in #Yemen resulting from the prolonged conflict, an ICRC cargo landed at Sana’a Airport on 11 October, carrying over 26 tonnes of assistance, …"

Yemeni activists commented unleashing a lot of anger. "

"The support always comes to the party who shells  and besieges Yemeni cities," replied female activist Afrah Al-Akehali.

"At a time when the residents of Al-Abdiya district in Marib.. who have been trapped for more than three weeks..there is no  @ICRC

or relief organizations to break the siege or send aid..only the Houthis are supported with everything they need," replied abdu-alsharaf.

Another activist Fares Ameer, said:"This picture tells of the complicity of UN organizations with the Houthi militia in its crimes in #Marib and others."

Yemenis widely accused the international humanitarian organizations of sustaining the Houthi sectarian war through concentrating humanitarian aid in Sana'a where the Shia extremists completely weaponise them by giving them only to families who have members participating in the war.
