Yemen MPs demand Hadi to withdraw from the Stockholm Agreement

Yemeni MPs have demanded the country's president to withdraw from the December 2018 Stockholm Agreement with Houthis after the Shiit militia dishonored the deal turning it its complete terrorist military and economic advantages.

Thirty eight MPs from various partisan and independent groups addressed a letter on Thursday to Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi asking him to "cancel commitment" to the deal and order the army to "liberate the rest of Hodeidah city, and get all military fronts to push back the militia until the liberation of Sana'a."

The MPs said the withdrawal is essential due to "the Houthi militia's reneging on their commitments under the Stockholm Agreement and continuing to shell cities and neighborhoods in Hodeidah, Marib, Dhale'a, Shabwa, Taiz, Beidha and other Yemeni cities" among other infringments.

The MPs said, "With the Houthi intransigence, there is no option of response but to military end their inauspicious coup and restore the state."
