Governor of Yemen's eastern Marib said on Wednesday the Houthi militia had refused to allow the entry of aid to the besieged region of Abdiya west of the governorate. 

In an interview with Al-Arabiya -Al-Hadath TV channel, Sultan Al-Erada  scorned the failure of the international humanitarian aid organizations for "not assuming their humanitarian duty toward civilians in Abdiya" a Marib region of more than 35 thousand residents being besieged by Shia extremist Houthis for the third week now.

"We don't know what keeps the humanitarian organizations from acting towards Abdiya," he said.

He said the militia are also shelling the region and the entire Marib governorate with ballistic missiles.
