One man killed, 3 wounded as STC militiamen hurl grenade at protesters in Yemen's Aden

One man was killed and three others were wounded in Yemen's southern port of Aden late on Tuesday as members of the Southern Transitional Council militia hurled a grenade at protesters, local sources have said.

The UAE-created militia controlling the supposed interim capital city of Yemen is struggling to quell swelling protesters demanding the militia's ouster and the restoration of the forcibly exiled government to tackle a pressing "economic deterioration" including the collapse of the national currency to dangerous levels.

Last night the protests spread to the vicinity of the presidential palace and central bank and the STC militiamen responded with shooting fire and two militiamen with a grenade killed a man and wounded three others in Sheikh Othman downtown Aden.

The international media systematically avoid reporting such stories which threaten to uncover the realities of what is going on Yemen, while they seek to reflect only the views of the anti-government militias: The Shia Houthis in the north, and, to a lesser degree, the UAE's militia in the south.
