A Houthi Shiit extremist shot dead a man in Yemen’s Taiz province on Thursday evening, local sources have said, the second crime of its kind in two days.
“The sniper stationed on Alsawda Hilltop shot dead 50-year-old Abduh Mohammed Saeed while he was working on his farm” west of the besieged provincial capital, one source said.
This crime follows a similar murder of a women by a Houthi sniper in Maqbana district, in the western countryside of Taiz province.
Houthi extremists besieging Taiz’s provincial capital and fighting endless war against government forces in some of its countryside have killed more than 17 thousand civilians over the past six years, many of them by sniper shootings.
