Houthis displace 67 families in Marib in two weeks

The Houthi militia have displaced 67 families in Yemen's Marib governorate as the militia continue heavy shelling on Baqtha outskirt into the second week, informed sources have said.

A local civil society organization 'Protection for Civil Orientation' said in a tweet the militia forcibly displaced 67 families from Baqtha area and Madhrah village in Rahabah district.

Local sources said the militia booby trap all the roads they reach to prevent the return of the army or families while seeking to impose full siege around new villages in preparation to advance. A woman and an 11-year-old boy were wounded in the militia's heavy shelling on Friday.
