Banning the government's presence in the country & brainwashing the public to believe it is 'failed'

Yemeni political analyst Naser Habtoor said from the beginning of the ongoing conflict, the legitimate Yemeni government faced a multifaceted war.

In a statement, Shabwa-based analyst said the following systematic and carefully planned policy was followed in the war against the legitimate government: The government was banned from presence and practice of authority in the country on the one hand, and was subjected to a "systematic campaign to persuade public to believe that it is a failed government on the other."

He said the most dangerous part of the malicious strategy was the tireless brainwashing of the public into believing that the idea of a legitimate government is a bad one and making people associate the word "legitimacy and legitimate" with failure and corruption.

He warned that the "foreign financed militias" behind this war on the government aim to undermine the government and divide the country which threatens to keep Yemen in statelessness and lawlessness for long years.
