Yemen’s army has retaken outskirts from Houthi armed militants in the borders of the eastern Marib province with the capital Sana’a, several sources and media outlets reported.
The army purged the theocratic militants from Al-Zoor village and neighboring hilltops in Serwah on Thursday. The militants had taken the village in the massive attack that the militia launched on 6 February to try to capture Marib from the government.
