Houthi escalations: Attack on a Sana’a tribe to make a breakthrough to Marib

Houthis have started clashes with the tribe of Bani Dhabyan in the borders of Sana’a with Marib governorate in east of Yemen, local sources said. The militants want “to make a breakthrough to Marib but are meeting resistance from the tribes,” said the sources, adding that the Bani Dhabyan had just finalized an agreement with Marib tribe to block Houthi advance attempts.

The theocrats who perceived the US eradication of their terrorist designation as what the Yemeni government called “a message to Houthis and Iran to continue their escalation” resumed intensive ground and air assaults on the government-held stronghold. Several drones attack attempts on the city were repelled and a ballistic missile left six civilian casualties early Sunday. At the moment of writing this story, Monday noon, a missile hit the city too.
