PM calls on UN to avoid ‘broad term,’ directly point finger at Houthis for Aden attack

Yemen's Prime Minister has stressed the necessity that the United Nations and overall international community quit denouncing Wednesday's terrorist attack on Aden airport by the ‘broad terms’ way and instead point finger “unequivocally at the Houthis” as the perpetrators.

Maeen Abdulmalik said during the first cabinet meeting in Aden after returning from Riyadh that the available initial information show the involvement of the "Houthi militia" in the attack using “guided missiles” with assistance from "Iranian experts."

Maeen indirectly attacked the international foot-dragging when it comes to designating Houthis as terrorists by saying:   "The international community is still discussing whether to designate the Houthis a terrorist group. But for us, the matter is clear. The handiwork of this militia proves that it is a terrorist organization.”
