Houthis injure two women south Hodeida

Alsahwa Net- The Houthis snipers injured on Saturday two women in Al-Duraihmi district, south Hodeida.

The Media Center of the Giant Brigade quoted a local source that Houthis militants shot at nearby houses in Al-Hayt village and injured two women; Ramadhan Sunbul and Safa Jaber.

The target of citizens’ houses coincides with military escalation by the Houthis in several southern districts of Hodeida.

The frequency of Houthis’ attacks on civilians in Hodeida increases amid fragile UN-sponsored ceasefire and full silence by the international community towards the Houthis’ breaching to the truce.

The Houthis and the government signed late 2018 the Stockholm agreement that proposes withdrawal of militants from Hodeida, release of detainees and lifting the Houthis-blockade on Taiz city. However, none of those has been implemented yet amid Houthis’ defiance to the ceasefire implementation.
