Islah official renews support to acceleration mechanism to Al-Riyadh agreement

Alsahwa Net-Chief of the Islah’s Parliamentary Block, Abdulrazaq Al-Hajri, renewed on Thursday his party’s support to acceleration mechanism to the implementation of Al-Riyadh agreement.

He voiced this during a video conference meeting with the Chinese Ambassador to Yemen, Kang Yong to discuss Yemen's political and field developments.

Al-Hajri said that the Houthis insist on the military choice and reject all the UN-led peace efforts.

He indicated that the Houthis’ military escalation against Marib and the use of ballistic missiles to target civilians come within the Houthis’ defiance to peace efforts.

He affirmed on the need to assume responsibility by the international community towards such crimes.

In a related context, Al-Hajri expressed again his party’ s support to the acceleration mechanism to the implementation of Al-Riyadh agreement.

 He renewed his hope that other aspects of Al-Riyadh agreement be implemented soon primarily the security and military issues to enable everyone contribute to the management of the upcoming period.

He affirmed on the need to the government’s return to Aden to manage the battle for the state retrieval, restore the public service and address the devaluation of the national currency.

He pronounced his concerns to the Houthis’ defiance to permit repairing of the Safer tanker.

 He called on the international community to pressurize the Houthis to permit the repairing of the tanker to avert a looming environmental disaster that threatens Yemen and the Red Sea countries.

For his part, Yong appreciated stances of the Islah party that support the peace process in Yemen and the implementation of Al-Riyadh agreement. He expressed his appreciation to the ties between the Chinese Communist Party and the Islah party.

He affirmed on his country's support to the peace in Yemen and highlighted the success made for the implementation of Al-Riyadh agreement.

He expressed his concern to the increasing risks of the Safer tanker and affirmed on the need to permit the UN experts access the tanker to check the condition of the tanker and do the required repairing.
