Alsahwa Net-Minister of Information, Muammar Al-Eryani, condemned on Saturday the United Nations (UN) Envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths for ignoring brutal crimes committed by the Houthis in Taiz.
He explained that Griffiths took no action to the recent snipping of the female nine-year child Rawida.
“This crime which shook the Yemeni public opinion and the conscience of free people, raises questions on his [Griffiths’s] neutrality and demonstrates ignorance to the Houthis crimes and violations,” Al-Eryani said.
He added that the continued silence by Griffiths on Houthis crimes against citizens throughout Yemen, the latest of which is the brutal sniping of the child in Taiz allows the Houthis’ continuation of these crimes.
Al-Eryani demanded Griffiths to refrain from silence and stop covering up the Houthis’ crimes.
He also called on Griffiths to openly condemn “this heinous crime which is a stigma on the humanity’s face.”
He demanded bringing responsible persons to justice for committing war crimes and crimes against humanity.
