Alsahwa Net- The Yemen’s National Committee to Investigate Alleged Violations to Human Rights held on Sunday a workshop in collaboration with the National Union of Extremely Poor Groups Development, in Aden about rights protection of extremely poor groups during armed conflicts.
Chief of the committee, Judge Ahmed Al-Moflehi, affirmed importance of protection to the extremely poor groups amid the ongoing armed conflicts where some parties use the bad living standards to attract men join the fighting.
Secretary General of the National Union of Extremely Poor Groups Development, Salah Dabwan said that volume of abuses against marginalized groups is much bigger than other social groups.
The National Committee to Investigate Alleged Violations to Human Rights says it is interested to probe abuses that took place between 2011 until today against all social groups.
The committee was formed in 2012 by President Abd Rabo Mansour Hadi to monitor, document, and investigate human rights abuses committed by any party.
