Houthis change again names of public schools

Alsahwa Net- The Houthis have changed names of several public schools in Sana’a with ones that belong to their ideology.

The Education Office in Sana’a which is managed by the Houthis publicized that Khaled Ibn Al-Waleed School is named now Al-Emam Al-Hadi and Al-Farooq School is named Al-Emam Zaid.

The Babylon School was named the 21st September school for anniversary of their coup that took place on 21 September 2014.

The move began last February in Ibb where the Houthis changed names of public schools to names of their religious and political figures.

Brother to the Houthis’ leader, Yahya Al-Houthi is the Minister of Education in the Houthis’ cabinet, exercises constant changes to the public education in favor of his group’s ideology.

He changed textbooks of primary education to bring about radical changes in minds of the schoolchildren in order to change identity of the society.
