Houthis launch new military recruitment in Hajja

Alsahwa Net-The Houthis militia increased levels of military mobilization in Hajja amidst acute shortage of their militants due to the ongoing fighting in Nehm of Sana’a and Al-Jawf.

The Houthis officials sent all their senior leaders to all districts of Hajja to scale up mobilization for new fighters.

Local sources who spoke to Alsahwa net said that the Houthis use all means to get people send their children to fight for the Houthis’ side.

The Houthis use the bad living standards to offer food aids to poor households provided that they send their children to the warfronts.

These food aids which were provided by international humanitarian groups, were supposed to be delivered to the needy people with no abuse or political exploitation.

This new military recruitment using senior leaders by the Houthis in Hajja and other Houthis-held governorates came following low response by local communities to send new fighters.

It also coincided with great loss among the Houthis’ fighters in Al-Jawf and Nehm.

Dozens of corpuses to the Houthis’ dead fighters remain scattered in several mountains and valleys of Nehm and Al-Jawf.

Leadership of the government’s forces has called on the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to withdraw the bodies.
