Landmine cuts off young girl's leg in Taiz, in newest Houthi crime

Alsahwa Net- A Houthi-laid landmine exploded and cut off the leg of Belqees Naji in al-Kadamah west of the central Yemen city of Taiz.

The young girl was walking in her village when she unknowingly stepped on the landmine cutting her leg off and causing shrapnel to penetrate her body, according to local eyewitnesses.

Earlier this month Houthi, Shia theocratic extremists, opened fire on children al-Silw district south of Taiz killing 10 year old Rahmah Fares Abduh and injuring five others including two of her brothers.

The extremists have been besieging the city of Taiz for five years and have killed and injured tens of thousands of civilians by landmines, sniper shootings and heavy shelling.
