Interior Ministry bans militant deployment in South Yemen

Alsahwa Net-Yemen Ministry of Interior has banned movement of militants in southern governorates that it captured recently from separation rebels in south Yemen.

These governorates include Aden, Abyan and Lahj, the state-run Saba News Agency quouted a statement by the ministry released on Wednesday.

It affirmed that its security apparatuses will preserve security in coordination with national military units.

It called on citizens in Aden, Abyan and Lahj to report any suspicious acts and to cooperate with the military and security forces to restore peace and public safety.

It indicated that its security forces work for safety of everyone including those who fought against the state forces.

It called on the separation militants to put down their rebellion and that the rebels will be safe under the rule of law once they stopped fighting against the government forces.

It urged leaders of the separation rebels to stop incitement and hatred speeches and support the government’s main battle against the Houthi rebels.

“We are determined to impose the rule of law and do our best to provide security for every citizen with no discrimination. The Yemeni state is for every Yemeni and everyone is responsible to support the rule of law,” the statement concluded.
