Government: Rebellion acts deepen humanitarian crisis

The Minister of Information, Muammar Al-Eryani said on Sunday that the ongoing rebellion acts in south Yemen deepens the humanitarian crisis in the country.

He explained that his government will update the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on the rebellion acts in south Yemen to take decisive actions.

“The government is committed at preserving national security and peace by deterring the Southern Transitional Council (STC) led-armed rebellion,” Al-Eryani wrote on his twitter account.

He indicated that the national army, the security services and citizens of Shabwa foiled the STC attacks and managed to secure key sites and state offices in Ataq capital city of Shabwa.

“Yemen's security, stability and territorial integrity are "national constants" which Yemenis never compromise no matter how crises and hardships endured,” said Al-Eryani.
