Alsahwa Net- The government of Yemen denounced the Monday’s attack that killed 14 civilians in a border area with Saudi Arabia, blaming the Houthis for the incident.

The state-run Saba News Agency quoted a government source on Tuesday  that the government condemned the attack that took dozens of civilian lives.

The source said that the Houthis attacked Aal Thabit Market in Qataber district border area with Katyousha missiles that caused high casualty among civilians.

“This behavior pattern reflects mentality of outlawed groups that disrespect norms and values and use all atrocious methods to impose their coup,” the source said.

The source demanded the international community to take a blatant position towards terror acts carried out by the Houthis militants and support the government to liberate other areas that remain under Houthis’ control for saving citizens’ lives from such acts.

The source renewed the government’s call for the UN, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and the UN Security Council to exercise more pressure on the Houthis to stop targeting civilian areas.
