Investigations reveal involvement of Houthis in Sana’a massacre

Alsahwa Net- Investigations carried out by a human rights group have revealed that the Houthis were behind the explosion that killed 14 children in Sana’a on April 7, 2019.

Sam for Rights and Liberties, known as Sam, said that this explosion occurred inside a manufacturing workshop in the populated area of Sa’wan in Sana’a.

In a report entitled “the mysterious explosion”, the organization quoted testimonies of military experts and witnesses residing in the area in which the explosion occurred.

A military expert said that the explosion was not caused by an air strike, and it was resulted by high-explosive materials, pointing out that these materials might have been used to manufacture rocket heads.

The organization (Sam) could also meet residents of Sa’wan and took their testimonies. One resident said  surrounded the area hours before the explosive, pointing out that the explosion continued for two hours.

Witnesses told Sam that the Houthis prevented all people from taking photos of the incident, and investigated and punished those who managed to take photos.
