Yemeni fishermen say Iranian ship threaten their lives in Red Sea

Alsahwa Net- Yemeni fishermen have complained that an Iranian ship, Savez, anchored offshore the Red Sea is threatening their lives, affirming that it provides the Houthi rebels with mines which are planted in the Yemen’s western coast.

In a statement, the fishermen said that about 100  fellow fishermen were killed by mines and thousands others stopped working in the fishing provision which is their only source of living.

The fishermen appealed to the Yemeni government, the Arab Coalition and the United Nations to intervene and save them from the dangers posed by the Iranian ship.

They expressed their surprise at the UN's silence for the activities of the Iranian vessel which affect the fishermen's safety and sources of living.
