Yemeni official: About 100 civilians murdered in 3 months

 

Alsahwa Net- Spokesman of the Yemeni army Abdu Mujali has said that approximately 100 civilians were murdered by the Houthis and 613 others were wounded since the beginning of the Hodeida ceasefire.

In a conference held today, Wednesday,  in Marib, Mujali said that the Houthis still pose threats to the international negotiation in the Red Sea, pointing out that Iranian experts train the Houthis to carry out terrorist acts.

He stressed that the national army is committed to the ceasefire in spite of the Houthi repeated violations. 

Meanwhile, The United Nations Special Representative for Children and Armed Conflict Virginia Gamba has stated that an understanding memorandum was signed between the United Nations and the Arab Coalition.

Gamba revealed that there is a cooperation between the United Nations and the Arab Coalition to create a child protection unit, pointing out that the UN will set of a training programme to raise awareness about child protection.

She spelt out that the Houthis commit grim violations against children, stressing the importance of ending violence and risks against children.
