Yemen demands UN Security council to pressure Houthis

Alsahwa Net- Representatives Yemen, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have demandedmembers of the United Nations to put pressures on the Houthis to implement the Stockholm Agreement.

In a letter sent to  the current French President of the UN Security Council François Delattre, the representatives affirmed that their governments are keen to reach a political solution and alleviate the suffering of Yemenis.

 They reiterated their support for the Stockholm agreement, pointing out that the Houthis still circumvent and  procrastinate in order to impede the implementation of the agreement. 

 Yemeni officials have told the UN Special Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths that all their concessions were made for the sake of peace, demanding to put pressures on the Houthis to implement the Sweden Agreement.
