Pakistani security forces on Wednesday abducted 16 Yemeni students from the building of the Yemeni Embassy to Pakistan.
Yemeni students in Pakistan told Alsahwah Net that security forces arrested the students on the basis of a request of the Yemeni Ambassador to Pakistan Mohammed Mutahar al-Oshbi.
Al-Oshbi on Tuesday directed to evacuate students from the Yemeni Embassy and end their protest.
Yemeni students studying in Pakistan have protested inside the embassy, demanding to pay their financial allocations in arrears.
Students told Alsahwah Net that their cell phones and other properties were confiscated, pointing out that they were prevented from delivering lunch meals to the embassy and they were also prevented from entering or exiting the embassy.
The students appealed to President Abdu Rabu Mansour Hadi, Prime Minister Ahmed Obaid Bin Daghar and Foreign Minister Abdul-Malik al-Mikhlafi to shoulder their responsibilities and put an end to the irresponsible behaviors of the ambassador.
