Houthis abduct two senior leaders of Socialist, Nasserite parties

Alsahwa Net- The Houthis on Sunday abducted the first secretary of the Yemeni Socialist Party Abdul-Aziz al-Wahash and the secretary of the Nasserist Unionist People's Organization in Ibb governorate Mohammed Hashim. They are held in the Political Security’s branch in Ibb.

The Huthits also continue committing crimes against civilians in different districts of Ibb. Last Sunday, Houthi armed men murdered two civilians in Ibb governorate  two days after the murder of a young man, , Hani al-Barusha.

Meanwhile,  the Yemeni government has said that the figure of the killed, wounded and kidnapped Yemeni civilians amounted to 67,000 during the period between September 2014 and September 2018.

Human Rights Minister has stated in a press conference that that the figure of the killed is 14,220 civilians including 1500 children and 865 women.

He further noted that the number of the wounded amounted to 31,127 civilians including 4,080 children and 3253 women.

According to the minister the figure of the abductees is 21,706 civilians, pointing out that 86 abductees were tortured to killed by Houthi militias.

He indicated that 30 journalists were among the abductees and 17 of them are still detained.

Askar also said that the landmines planted by the Houthis killed 1593 civilians and caused permanent disabilities for 1413 others.
