Islah surprised by security inaction toward assassinations of party members

The Yemeni Congregation for Reform (Islah) party has condemned the inaction of the security forces over the relentless wave of assassinations  including against the party's members in the temporary capital Aden.

The Islah offices in Amran and Beidha provinces expressed in different statement their surprise at the security services' inaction to take part in protecting the pro-government soldiers, mosque clerics and political activists who have for months been killed by drive-by shootings, plastic bombs on cars, hand grenades and silenced guns.

The Islah called on President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi and the government to assume their responsibility in putting an end to these crimes and cracking down on and bringing to trial the perpetrators of them.
