- Forcing people to pay money, using pressures and threats
- Submitting resources of taxes to militias
- Cutting off services of wired communication and internet in Shaban and Hufash districts.
- Confiscating humanitarian assistance and relief provided by international organizations and distributing them to Houthi followers and supporters.
- Blackmailing families of detainees and asking them to pay ransoms for releasing their relatives.
