Arab Parliament: Houthi crimes against children amount to war crimes

The Arab Parliament denounced the Houthi militia's increased recruitment of child fighters to train them on use of all kinds of arms and deploy them to the front lines.

The Arab Parliament, in a resolution issued on Wednesday, said that the actions of the rebel militia backed by the Iranian regime against children in Yemen amount to "war crimes, crimes against humanity and a threat to regional and international peace and security which necessitates upon the International Criminal Court to prosecute them."

"The fact that the Houthis have abducted children from schools and brought them to war fronts is a crime against children."

The Arab Parliament strongly condemned these criminal acts against children saying they have resulted in a series of other violations, including the killing of children, injuries, permanent disabilities, psychological problems, homelessness and deprivation from the right to education and life."
