Protesters call int'l community to pressure Houthis to hand over Hodeidah

Yemeni activists in the French capital Paris organized a protest to demand the international community to adopt an emergency program to save Yemen from the dangers of the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Yemen.

The protesters called on the international community to put more pressure on the Houthi rebel militia to withdraw from the city of Hodeidah  and to hand it over to the government for the sake of civilians' life and safety.

The participants in the rally organized by the Hakki Center for Rights and Freedoms held the Houthi rebels responsible for the consequences of their use of civilians as human shields and embedding their military hardware in the  densely populated neighborhoods of Hodeidah.
