Arab Coalition says Houthis responsible for attack on Turkish ship

The Arab Coalition supporting Yemen's government in the face of Houthi rebellion said that the rebel militia is fully responsible for the attack on the Turkish ship. Early this month a Turkish vessel carrying 50,000 tons of humanitarian aid wheat and heading toward al-Saleef Red Sea port in the Houthi-held Hodeidah province was subjected to a blast, the cause of which was not known at the moment.

The spokesman for the Coalition Col. Turki al-Maliki, said on Monday that vessel was attacked by a missile from Hodeidah and  blamed that attack on the Shia rebels who sabotaged Yemen's historical transformation toward democracy in September 2014 and have since plunged the country in a merciless war.

Maliki said that Houthi militia are seizing relief aid donated to the Yemeni people this month of (Ramadan) for themselves and even continue to use civilians as human shields in their front lines.
