Arab Coalition tows damaged Turkish vessel to Jazan

The Arab Coalition has towed the mysteriously damaged Turkish vessel to Jazan seaport upon a received call from the vessel's captain, the captain told the media.

The vessel was carrying wheat and heading for Yemen when an explosion occurred in its body. Different sources attributed the blast to different reasons; some said an overheating of the ship's parts, some said a missile.

Upon the captain's distress signal the Arab Coalition forces "conducted a survey of the incident and found a hole" according to the Coalition's spokesman Turki al-Maliki.

The vessel was reportedly carrying 50,000 tonnes of wheat and heading toward al-Saleef Red Sea port in Hodeidah.
