Army makes new progress in Houthi stronghold Saada

The army has been able to make new progress in the stronghold of Houthi rebel militia – the north Yemen province of Saada.

The army has liberated new positions, after violent clashes with the coupist militia that cost the militia  heavy losses in manpower and equipment.

According to the Defense Ministry's news site "www.26sepnews.net" the heroes of the army's Fifth Brigade Border Guards managed on Monday, to retake strategic sites, including Saelat Mqre'a, Al-Maymanah, and Dhahr al-Borkan among other sites.

                            
The confrontations resulted in the death of several members of the militia and the wounding of others, and the escape of some fighters leaving behind them heavy and medium weapons.
