Foreign Minister tells abductees' mothers that their sons issue is priority

Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdul-Malik al-Mekhlafi said that "the issue of the activists abducted and disappeared  by the Houthi militia is one of the top priorities and concerns of the government, either as a human rights issue or in part of any talks toward  a political solution."

In a letter he addressed to the Mothers of Abductees on Monday, he said that the "the issue of the abducted and the forcibly disappeared is a humanitarian issue that concerns the entire human community and what the militias are doing is a flagrant violation of all international norms, conventions and laws."  "This issue will continue to be a priority of the legitimate government," he said in the letter.
