NGO: 53 civilians killed and injured in Houthi attacks in Taiz last March

A Yemeni NGO has said that Houthis killed and wounded 53 civilian people including women and children in Taiz last March.

In its report on human rights abuses in Taiz in March, the Coalition for Humanitarian Relief (CHR) said the rebels "killed nine children and three women, and  wounded three children, four women and 34 men by rocket shelling" on the city of Taiz.

One hundred and twenty children became orphans and 47 families were driven away from their houses in Saber al-Mawadem and Salah districts in Taiz, adds the report.

The report said cholera and other epidemics are appearing again because of lack of medical provisions which the rebels besieging the city block along with other humanitarian aid from entering into the city.
