A car bomb reportedly exploded near a mosque in the central Yemen province of Beidha but no casualties were incurred.
Local sources in Tamran neighborhood of al-Saomaa district of Beidha said that a car that was parking near Dho al-Noorein mosque exploded after Friday Noon Prayers but no one was injured as the worshippers had already left.
"The explosion incurred however severe damage in the buildings; the mosque and several neighboring houses."
Central and south Yemen provinces such as Aden, Hadhramout and Taiz are seeing a wave of assassinations and different types of attacks against moderate clerics by unknown gunmen. The fingers of accusation are often pointed to extremists.
