Arab Coalition destroys two Houthi boat bombs in the Red Sea

The Arab coalition jets have destroyed two boat bombs remotely operated by Houthis off the Yemeni shores in the Red Sea.

The boats were prepared to carry out "terrorist attacks in one of the most important international shipping corridors in the Red Sea," the UAE's official news agency "WAM" reported without elaborating on the boats' exact target intended.

The Shia Islamist rebels are blamed for several boat bomb attacks in the Red Sea and car bomb attacks that killed senior government officials in the temporary capital Aden in 2015.
