Judge Union Club starts strike in Sana'a, al-Hudeidah

The Judge Union Club in Yemen started a partial strike on Saturday, demanding to protect judges from repeated assaults and harassments, and tackle the imbalances of the justice system

In a statement, the Judge Union Club said that this partial strike will be carried out two hours on Sunday and Monday for two weeks in the governorates of Sana'a and al-Hudeidah.

It also cited that the strike will include the other governorates of Yemen on November 26, 2016, if the authorities do not meet the demands of the club, affirming that the justice system will be completely suspended on December 04.

The judges complain from time to time the assaults of the Houthis who took over Yemen in the early 2015, indicating that they have not received their salaries since three months and their suffering have worsened.
