Islah condemns assassination of its members in Aden, demands investigations.

The Yemeni Congregation for Reform (Islah) party has condemned the assassination of its member "Shawqi Mohammad Muqbel Kamadi" in the temporary capital Aden on Tuesday.

Kamadi who is also an Imam of a mosque was shot dead by masked gunmen riding a motorbike when he was in one of Aden's streets. Several other mosque preachers, some of whom are members of Islah, have been assassinated in the same way in the past couple of months.

Tuesday's assassination of Kamadi triggered the Islah branch offices in Shabwah, Mahweet and other provinces to condemn those attacks and demand the government authorities to investigate into them and uncover the cells of assailants and bring them to justice.

Upon the assassination of Kamadi who is a member of Islah's executive office in Aden, Prime Minister Ahmed bin-Daghr vowed to clam down on such terrorist attacks. '

The Islah offices have now called upon the President of the Republic, the Government and the Ministry of the Interior to assume their responsibilities and to "carry out their legal, moral and humanitarian duty to realize security and stability in the interim capital Aden and to quickly arrest the perpetrators and bring them to justice."
