Two women die, increasing toll of Houthi landmine to five in Aljawf

Two women who sustained wounds from a Houthi planted landmine in Aljawf have now died increasing the toll of the killed to five.

Villagers transporting water by donkeys in al-Masloob of the northern province of Aljawf on Friday morning stepped up on a landmine, which exploded and killed two boys and one man and critically injuring two women. The two women are reported now to have died as a result of the wounds. Government sources estimated the number of landmines the Shia Islamic fighter have planted in the country as more than quarter a million.
