HR Ministry documents 613 civilian casualties incurred by Houthis

The Ministry of Human Rights said it had documented the killing and wounding of 613 civilians, casualties incurred by Houthis in the period from December 1, 2017 to January 10, 2018.

According to a report issued by the ministry, 318 cases of murder and 295 cases of injury were documented among civilians including women and children.

The report pointed out that the extremist militia planted mines in residential areas, villages, farms and highways in order to kill as many civilians as possible. In fact 23 deaths and injuries were caused by these landmines, according to the report.

The report pointed out that many civilians, politicians, journalists, students, activists, academics and media bandits are still in the prisons and detention centers of the militia and that the cases of arbitrary arrest, torture and enforced disappearance during the report preparation period amounted to 407 cases.
