Houthi ballistic missile hits school in Khawkha, causing casualties

Houthi rebel fighters have fired a ballistic missile hitting a school for girls in Khawkha coastal town in Hodeidah province wounding a number of persons and terrifying students and neighbors of the school.

The website of the Defense Ministry www.26sep.net said the missile "hit  a girls school causing great damage in the school building" and neighboring houses one of them was reduced to rubble.  

An unidentified number of persons were injured in the area. Government forces are battling with the Iran-backed Houtis in parts of the Red Sea port province of Hodeidah which the radical Shiit Islamists rely on economically and for the import of Iran supplied weaponry.
