Presidential advisor says Houthis radicalize army units

Presidential Advisor Mohammed al-AMeri said the Houthis are using the radicalizing army units and tribesmen to become violent militants, in implementation of an Iranian agenda set for the Islamist Shiit violent group.

In a statement to al-Sahwah newspaper and website he said that "this group is involved in implementation of an Iranian agenda .. and seeks to change the identity" of Yemenis.

"They conduct intensive courses to brainwash tribesmen in buildings basements and army personnel in military camps," he said.

He likened them to "a malignant tumor" in the danger those by entrenching their extremist and violent beliefs in the minds of their followers.
