In a statement on Saturday, the Association of Abductees' Mothers said the allies-turned-foes of Saleh and Houthis are "responsible for the life and safety of our children" in both sides' prisons in Sana'a.

The Association of Abductees' Mothers is a body of women whose sons, activists and journalists, have been abducted and forced to disappearance by the Houthi and Saleh supporters over the course of their allied rebellion against the government from 2014 to late November when their alliance as anti-government rebels fractured.

They expressed concern especially as Sana'a is seeing street warfare between the supporters of Saleh and Houthis. They said that "more than 100 abductees have already been killed and hundreds  others injured as a result of brutal torture."
