The Saleh-Houthi militias have reportedly killed and injured 1070 civilians from Ibb since they controlled this central Yemen province and further southern provinces nearly three years ago.

A media center following up on the militias' abuses from outside the province found recently that the radical rebel militias killed 510 people and injured and stopped short of killing 560 others.

Some of the casualties resulted from the militiamen's taking sides in disputes about properties and other personal affairs.

Militiamen committed cases of shoot and run exploiting the  atmosphere of fear they created and the unrestrained proliferation of arms in people's hands. Of the 560 injured, 470 were men, 51 children and 39 women.

The Iran-aligned militias have committed thousands of abuses in total since they controlled the province in October 2014.

In all areas they controlled, the militias have rounded up peaceful oppositionists, including journalists, in hundreds and put them in jail.
