MASAM Project Removes 736 Mines, Unexploded Ordnance in Yemen

The Saudi-led MASAM project has announced that its field teams removed 736 mines, unexploded ordnance, and explosive devices in Yemen last week.

The project has cleared over 530,000 mines and explosive devices since its inception in 2018, covering vast areas of contaminated land.

MASAM's efforts aim to protect civilians and enable safe re-use of cleared lands.
