Taiz city marked Yemen's 58th Independence Day with a massive rally attended by wounded soldiers and families of martyrs. The rally called for unified national efforts against Houthi militia and completion of Taiz province liberation.

Participants demanded immediate care for wounded soldiers and overseas treatment, payment of salaries to wounded and martyrs' families without delay, and establishment of National Authority for Wounded and Martyrs' Families care.

The event emphasized Taiz's pivotal role in Yemen's struggle for freedom and independence, with speakers honoring martyrs and wounded heroes who fought against colonialism and Houthi occupation.
