Dozens of women held a protest in front of the Taiz Governor Office to demand the provision of basic services and improvement of living conditions in the city, which has been suffering from the effects of Houti war and siege for years.
The protesters carried signs condemning the deterioration of services, including the lack of water and persistent electricity outages. They also called for the immediate operation of essential services and the improvement of the economic situation.
The women expressed their disappointment with what they described as "official negligence" towards the suffering of citizens, calling on the government and local authorities to take responsibility and respond urgently to their demands, which they consider to be legitimate rights.
The protest is part of a series of peaceful demonstrations aimed at pressuring the authorities to take action to improve services and implement vital projects that have been stalled. The protesters emphasized that they will continue to hold demonstrations until their demands are met
