MASAM Deactivates 1,050 landmines in Yemen

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's mine action program (MASAM) has successfully neutralized 1,050 landmines, unexploded ordnance, and explosive devices in Yemen, all of which were laid by Houthi militia.
This latest effort brings the total number of explosive devices removed since April 1 to 2,548.
According to MASAM's latest update, its teams have dismantled a total of 488,656 explosive threats since the project's inception.
Additionally, they have cleared over 66 million square meters of land that was previously contaminated with mines and explosive remnants.
