Yemeni Cities Erupt in Solidarity with Gaza, Condemning Israeli Actions

Multiple cities in Yemen's Hadhramaut and Al Mahrah governorates witnessed widespread demonstrations on Friday, April 11, 2025, in solidarity with Gaza and against the Israeli genocide.

 The protests, held after Friday prayers, drew hundreds of participants who chanted slogans, waved banners, and expressed their unwavering support for the Palestinian people.

Protests Across Hadhramaut

- Tarim District: Residents gathered in the courtyard of Al-Zahra Mosque, holding banners that called on the international community to intervene and stop the war on Gaza.

 Protesters denounced the forced displacement and systematic massacres of Palestinians, resulting in tens of thousands of casualties, mostly women and children.


- Mukalla: Hundreds protested in the square of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq Mosque, expressing deep dissatisfaction with the ongoing violence and destruction in Gaza, attributed Israe'ls regional and international backers, particularly the United States.

- Ghayl Bawazir District: A solidarity vigil and mass march were organized by the Al-Madad and Al-Nasra Forum, featuring chants like "Khaybar, Khaybar, O Jews! The army of Muhammad will return!" and "With our souls and blood, we will redeem you, Gaza!"

- Other Cities: Similar protests took place in Ash Shihr, Ad-Dees Al-Sharqiya, and Al-Hami, with participants reaffirming Yemen's steadfast support for the Palestinian cause.





Al Mahrah Governorate Joins in Solidarity

In Al-Ghaydah, the capital of Al Mahrah Governorate, a massive solidarity rally was held, where participants affirmed their unity with the Palestinian people and condemned Israeli terrorism. They demanded a firm international stance to compel Israel to halt its aggression and allow humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.

Call to Action

Protesters across the cities called for a united Arab, Islamic, and international stance against the Israeli occupation, urging action to thwart mass displacement plans and halt the aggression that has resulted in significant loss of life, particularly among women and children.
